Popkiss: The Life and Afterlife of Sarah Records was published worldwide by the prestigious Bloomsbury imprint (J.K. Rowling, Neil Gaiman, Michael Ondaatje) in November 2015. The first authorized biography of the cult British independent label Sarah Records, it received unanimous praise from international music publications, including four stars in best-selling UK magazines MOJO and Record Collector (the latter named it one of the best books of the year), and 8 out of 10 in Exclaim, Canada's only national music paper. As well, it was named best book of 2015 in the category of 'Historical Recorded Sound Research in Record Labels' by the U.S.-based Association for Recorded Sound Collections.

To date, Popkiss has sold over 5,000 physical copies and several hundred ebooks — a considerable feat for a specialist music title in the 21st century. In 2021, it entered its third printing, indicating continued consumer demand.
