ME
Thanks to a diverse career of more than 25 years, my exceptionally rare skill set brings the most valuable qualities of traditional journalism and storytelling to the worlds of custom content,
social media, copywriting, and other forms of B2B and B2C communication.
Formerly senior editor of Vancouver, FASHION and Glow magazines, I've contributed hundreds of features and reviews to publications across Canada and internationally. Topics of interest include food and drink, popular culture, style, travel, health and fitness, entrepreneurialism, and consumer goods. As well, I've written and edited press releases, media pitches, custom features, and complete magazines for a variety of corporate and small-business clients.
My first book, the award-winning music biography Popkiss, was published worldwide by Bloomsbury in 2015. It garnered four-star reviews in leading international music magazines, holds an aggregate rating of 4.3 (out of 5) on Goodreads.com, and is now in its third printing.
I welcome freelance writing and editing opportunities, as well as proposals of full- and part-time positions related to editing, copywriting, marketing, PR and teaching.
